I just finished up my lifeguard training! I was nervous about the written test, but I passed the water portion and the written one. Of course they put in some questions to try to trip you up, but that’s to be expected.
The lifeguard trainning took three days, but otherwise it was a pretty typical week. Dropping the kiddo off at school, doing some house work, making dinner, walking the dog Meatball.
Doing more work at my old job. It’s feeling better not doing my old role anymore. Way less stress and way less hours. I do still miss the responsibility of the position and feel some loss at what I wasn’t able to accomplish, but we’re moving on and not dwelling. Dwelling is not good. Maybe it is in some scenarios, but not in this one.
Short one this week. I’m thinking of changing this up around here. I like this blog thing, but it’s a bit tough for me to keep up with. Odd as that is. I planned to write it once a week and it’s still too tough. It only involves opening up a computer, which I am on every day, and writing into a text editor. Not rocket science, not very time consuming, but still hard to get done. I think I don’t like the format very much and that’s what’s preventing me from getting into it, so that’s why changes are coming. I plan to have these out for next week. You have been warned!
