Weeknote #27

Happy Fourth of July! We went tubing down the Green River. We used the same outfitter we always use on that river. They got completely washed away during hurricane Helene, so we like to suport them. Their buildings, all their tubes, everything of theirs was washed away, so they are trying to rebuild. They had a new building, a new parking lot, which is where the old building was, and a new section of the river to run. The old section of the river was completely changed from the hurricane, so they are forced to run the section directly after that. Plus the dam that releases on the river is also busted, so it’s just the normal river flow, which is not that much. So we ended up walking a bit, and scraping a bit. Overall it wasnt as enjoyable as it had been, but again it was good to support them.

Otherwise this week was pretty normal. Lot’s of work, no camps, some outdoor fun, and plenty of relaxing.

Unfortunately I’m still feeling overwhelmed at home. There is so much I want to do, but I feel a little held back by other things such as time, money, asbestos, etc. I wish things weren’t like this and I wish I could move forward with stuff. That’s what I don’t like the most. I feel like days are just passing me by and nothing is moving forward. Hopefuly you aren’t feeling this way as well.

Until next time, good luck out there!
