Weeknote #31
So I’m trying something new this week. I’m going and doing voice to text because the hardest thing I find about writing every week is sitting down to actually write. Takes me away from things that I’m doing and makes me have to sit in front of the computer for like an hour, and then because I don’t wanna be doing that, I end up writing less than I want. So I figure this is gonna be a good way to be able to do two things at once. I can be washing the dishes and saying what I’m thinking, and it can be written down. I could be mowing the doing the same thing I think it’s gonna be amazing.
This past week at work has been pretty awesome. I’ve been left on my own by myself a little bit more than normal, and it’s forced me to have to figure some things out, which is how I learn best. One of the ways I learn best, or one of the ways I like to learn, it has been said to be by myself. I like a person who’ve been training me and enjoy working with them, and next week will be, I think, our last official time for this transfer of knowledge from little bummed about that, but that I’m starting to think about how I build fitness into my week, which is good and doing a lot of calendaring at home for things that we wanna get done such as adventures exploring and that sort of thing things seem to be going well.
More things in the garden are blooming, which is awesome. We’ve got some buds on some new plants, some of the wildflower plants that I put down a few months ago. Wait, not a few months ago, maybe like a month to two months ago. I guess that’s months ago. Yeah, I’m feeling pretty good about my reading schedule, which is nice health-wise. I’ve been good. No more inflamed areas on my body, so I like that and speaking of health, I signed up for healthcare, which is awesome. It’s gonna cut our payments down by quite a bit. It goes from like $800-almost $900 to about $100 so that’s awesome.
The ceiling in our living room is still plastic, which is a bummer. The people who are going who had started to fix it and did the abatement for the asbestos said that they have a two month waiting list now, which sucks. I don’t know how we got bumped out of the way so much, so we’re probably gonna go with some other company who can do it quicker because it would be nice to have our living room room back again, oh, and we’re talking about that. It makes me think of house stuff and now that I’m going to be making more money, you can start saving again, you know, not a ton, but saving some and putting that towards the house and actually towards things that we want and not have to not cut corners. What’s the phrase I’m looking for? Be so conservative with our money, not that I want to start purchasing everything under the sun, but a little less concern needs to go into where our money is going, which is nice
That reminds me of the kiddo and their obsession with video games. I shouldn’t say obsession. That has a bad connotation. The kiddo loves their video games and loves playing them, and I love that. I also like playing video games, but I intersperse them with being active and being outside and doing other things that fuel my fire. Fuel my fire? Is that a phrase? I think I was trying to say fill my tank. Well, I’m trying to reduce the amount of time that they play video games because they just end up playing video games and then complaining when we have to go out and that doesn’t feel great.
I’m gonna leave this here. I think it’s a good solution to my “problem” and I’ll do this going forward. It’s been a lot easier. Now I just need to remember to do this every week.
Until next time, good luck out there!
